Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation stimulates the skin’s own rejuvenation process in a gentle, non-destructive way using fluorescent light energy (FLE). The technology effectively destresses, revitalises, and restores skin health, and slows down the signs of ageing in the process. Nothing added, just skin at its best, balanced and glowing.
The treatment is based on the interaction between a specially designed photoconverter gel and the Kleresca® Light. Chromophores in the gel convert the blue light from the lamp into fluorescent light energy (FLE) that penetrates the skin and stimulates its own rejuvenation process.
Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation improves overall skin texture without causing any trauma:
Some patients have seen an improvement after just a single treatment, but results will vary from individual to individual. However, thanks to the way Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation activates the skin’s own repair mechanisms, improvements should continue even after the full treatment has been completed.
Patients normally experience long-lasting, noticeable improvements as multiple layers of the skin respond to the treatment. The skin repair process has been documented to continue even after the treatment has ended. Results will differ from patient to patient depending on skin quality or if the treatment is administered in combination with other techniques.
Aside from the face, the treatment can also be used on other areas of the body, including the neck, décolletage, and hands.
The recommended protocol for Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation will depend on the initial skin condition. The number of sessions can vary depending on skin type and its damage. We recommend that you ask your clinician who will evaluate the condition of your skin and will propose the most suitable protocol for you. The total number of treatments generally varies, but the most common protocol is 4 sessions, once per week, for 4 weeks.
Yes. Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation can be used during summer. The treatment does not create photosensitivity and it is not invasive. It should be safe for most patients to have immediate pre- and post- treatment exposure to light and sunshine. However, as the skin is going into a healing state, which may cause it to be a bit more sensitive we recommend the use of moisturizers post treatment and preferably with a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) included.
Patients treated mention a warm and tingling sensation and describe Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation as a pleasant and comfortable treatment.
The Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation uses a multi-LED lamp (Light Emitting Diode) as its energy source. Harmful UV light is not emitted by the system. With clinical trials showing high safety and efficacy, Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation is a well-tolerated treatment with no serious side effects reported.
The gel stays on the surface of the skin to convert the light emitted by the lamp into fluorescent light energy (FLE). FLE then triggers beneficial effects by stimulating the healing mechanisms in the multiple layers of the skin.
Due to the high safety profile of the treatment, many candidates may benefit from the treatment. Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation may also be combined with other techniques where the goal is to improve the overall quality of the skin and skin complexity. Always follow your clinician’s recommendation.
Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation can be combined with other treatments, but this is always subject to the judgement of the clinician or practitioner.
The treatment is offered exclusively in selected and certified Kleresca® clinics.

The technology has been on the market since 2014. Side effects – seen in some patients – are all non-permanent and may include redness, swelling, and hyperpigmentation (bronzing of an area of the skin).
Side effects impact patients differently depending on skin type, so we always recommend talking to your clinician before beginning treatment.
