How is Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation different to other techniques available?

The innovative aspect of Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation lies in the advanced use of fluorescent light energy to stimulate multiple layers of the skin. Inspired by photosynthesis, the non-invasive technology is designed to work with the biological processes in the skin, providing several benefits for patients. With Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation, you no longer have to compromise results with pain or a long downtime.

What are biophotonics?

In this context, biophotonic refers to the interaction between photons and your skin. Kleresca®’s biophotonic treatment represents a completely new way of rejuvenating the skin in the field of professional dermatology.

What are the benefits of Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation?

The treatment has been shown to improve the complexion by:

  • Inducing collagen production
  • Improving skin texture and natural glow
  • Reducing pore size and fine lines
  • Reducing signs of scars

How soon will I see results?

Some patients have seen an improvement after just a single treatment, but results will vary from individual to individual. However, thanks to the way Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation boosts collagen production, improvements will continue even after the full treatment has been completed.

How long will the results last?

You should experience long-lasting, noticeable improvements to your skin as multiple layers respond to the treatment. The skin repair process has been documented to continue even after the treatment has ended. Results will differ from patient to patient depending on skin quality and if the treatment is administered in combination with other techniques.

What areas can be treated with Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation?

Besides the face, the treatment can also be used on the neck, décolletage and hands.

What is the recommended protocol?

The recommended protocol for Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation will depend on your skin condition. The number of sessions can vary depending on the type of skin and its damage. We recommend that you ask your clinician who will evaluate the condition of your skin and will propose the most suitable protocol for you.

Can I use Kleresca® during summer?

Yes. Kleresca® Treatments don’t induce photosensitivity and patients don’t need to avoid sun exposure during or after the treatments. However, people should protect themselves against the harmful UV light of the sun with sun screen. Kleresca® can be used all year-round.

Kleresca® Biophotonic treatments are generally gentle and comfortable. Being non-invasive, there is no destruction or removal of the skin’s natural barriers. The gel used during the treatment is not absorbed by the skin, so no substance in it can induce photosensitive reaction.

Is it painful?

Patients treated mention a warm and tingling sensation and describe Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation as a pleasant and comfortable treatment.

Is the light harmful?

The Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation system uses a multi-LED lamp (Light Emitting Diode) as its energy source. Harmful UV light is not emitted by the system. With clinical trials showing high safety and efficacy, Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation is a well-tolerated treatment with no serious side effects reported.

Does the gel absorb into the skin?

No. The gel stays on the surface of the skin where its purpose is to convert the light from the lamp into the unique fluorescent light energy required for optimal stimulation of multiple layers of the skin.

Who are suitable candidates for Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation?

Due to the high safety profile of the treatment, many candidates may benefit from the treatment. Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation may also be combined with other techniques where the goal is to improve the overall quality of the skin and skin complexity. Always follow your clinician’s recommendation.

Is Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation safe?

The technology has been on the market since 2014. Side effects – seen in some patients – are all non-permanent and may include redness, swelling and hyperpigmentation (bronzing of an area of the skin).
Side effects impact patients differently depending on skin type, so we always recommend talking to your clinician before beginning treatment.
